LASORB is an ESD absorber and protector for laser diodes.
LASORB is unique its simplicity. By simply placing the LASORB device directly across the terminals of the laser diode, the laser diode can be protected against the harmful effects of both positive- and negative-ESD, and also from the effects of power surges that can occur during power-up and power-down phases.
