This is the laser sled from an HD-DVD addon to the Xbox. Unfortunately, they are available in scarce quantities because the HD format has been dropped. These diodes are capable of high power reaching and surpassing 100mW, but their sustainable power is perhaps much lower than that. There is no clear answer yet as to why they are very overpowered, but at the price that they are available at, they are quite a great deal.
